- Connect the cash drawer, scanner, and Ethernet cable directly to the POS to ensure all peripherals are properly linked for smooth operation and functionality.
- Go to Settings > System > Date & Time and set the correct local time to ensure accurate transaction timestamps.
- Go to the App Store on the POS and download the Quickvee app and Chrome. Open Quickvee and setup printer
- Open the Quickvee app and set up the printer to ensure it's ready for use.
- Set up the pin pad by choosing the connection type (Ethernet/USB) based on the file configuration. Insert the PAX serial number and fetch the device if using an Ethernet connection.
- Take a test payment and verify it on Mreports to ensure the payment process is functioning correctly.
- Perform a batch out and verify it on Mreports to confirm that the batch processing is successful.
- Print a receipt to check if the printer is functional and printing everything properly.
- Click on “No Sale” under Register on the POS to check if the cash drawer is functional.
Speed Test
To test your internet speed:
- Open Chrome and navigate to https://fast.com/.
- The test will automatically begin, displaying your download speed.
- Click "Show more info" to view your upload speed and latency.
- Record both download and upload speeds for your records.
